Second time around!

Ok, this is the second time for this entry. Man, I forgot to hit save and destroyed my best work in years. Now this pitiful replacement must suffice.

I awoke and went to my faithful Dell Optiplex to check the overnight email. By chance and luck, I called up the Geocache site & when I hit the “My Caches” button lo and behold a NEW cache appeared that was right on our doorstep. How could one resist being first? Check out the pictures for the cache!

With great excitement I ran to SAM, who was still deeply asleep, and proclaimed the intention we be the first! Like the true champion, SAM rubs the sleep from weary eyes and we hit the road! Well, we were the first – and the mosquitoes were out in abundance – this October morning.

The Upper Crust & the Mist

Two days and several promises late: After our walk on Fish Creek Trail this fine fall day of 10/07/03 we decided to visit our favorite Hamilton lunchtime eating place – The Upper Crust. After a lot of hummm’s and deciding, I ordered the Italian Sub and SAM ordered the Bacon Lover’s sandwiches. With the serious business aside, we had a good chat with our favorite lunchtime person – who did not want to be pictured on the web – about working hours and other good stuff.

When I awoke this morning early I saw a beautiful site that has greeted me for a long time without being recorded for posterity. Inspired, I grabbed the cam and snapped the sight that has been my awaking view in good times and bad: I hope you enjoy it like I have. Have the best day of your life!
