  • Not a real good day today

I arrived bright and a few minutes early this morning and met with my team mates to go out to our warehouse. On arrival at the warehouse we picked up some of the materials we need to do the radio main site. Wow, lo and behold the VHF combiner had arrived so we looked at the box and it had two penetrations that looke suspiciously like forklift punctures. I felt in the hole and almost cried – the combiner cans had big dents in them. Oh well, there goes ten grand or more for the insurance company to pay. Actually it is much more than that for the intangible side. It takes 6 weeks to get a new one but the project is to be done in 6 weeks so here goes another time compression event. What about the tower top lighting? The tower is to be stacked and antennas installed in 3 weeks or so and it is not here yet. You get the picture!

On the bright side I am supposed to go sailing this Sunday afternoon and it should be a balm for the soul. Check out Moore Wireless Communications news for the latest on the VPN adventure.

I don’t know if I mentioned it but I have the URL’s charleswmoore.com, .net, .org, and .us. I like the concept of the .us so I got it to support the concept. These are not really active yet but .com leads to this site if you want to try. Have a great evening.
