Hey! I have my new charleswmoore web page up and flying on a Abyss Web Server. View the page. This nifty, free web server software was very easy to install and I had the whole thing up an running in 1 hour, including making the page. Ok, ok if you saw the first cut page it was pretty basic and only lasted 2 days before being replaced by the second cut page and this lasted about 3 hours.

Anyone out there that tells me they like the first cut page better that what is there now is in trouble. However, being a free country based on the principles of liberty feel free to make comments via “karma” voting and “comments” which I am enabling for this posting.

The day dawned to mostly sunny skies and temeperatures of 57 degrees – high today is 77 here in St. Petersburg. Last night it was cooler as I went to Sonny’s for my Friday night BBQ – I had chicken & pork w baked potato & coldslaw for $7.99 plus tax and tip (total $10). Now that may seem like a real good price but up North I can eat for less with the same quality. Most of my evening meals are after 1830 hrs so the price is up. Early Bird specials reign here but you must get them before 1700 or the price goes way up now if only they would have the “working man’s early bird special” I would be in like flint.

This leads me to my rant of today – what can a WASP man, much than the middle tier managers of today, in a recession economy with industry ringing the bell of the holy grail “ISO quality for pennies” expect? NOT MUCH rings a bell to me: perhaps it is only depression setting in. BFN….Charlie .
