A very fine day indeed

Today started as a cloudy one but developed into a cool, partly cloudy day. With SAM as a companion, we drove to Bradenton and then on to Sarasota. We took the Ringling Causeway to Long Boat Key and back up to Bradenton via Manatee Avenue. It was a good day filled with only a moments frustration at the traffic in Sarasota and LBK and a bigger one with the service station charging $1.72 per gallon ( prevailing price is $1.58).

On the way back to St. Petersburg we stopped at the fishing piers of the “Skyway” where we saw a sign that said no fishing license was necessary to fish off the pier. OK, maybe next week or the week after that.

The day ended with a real home made meal – it takes two to do it right. BFN….Charlie
