I always thought those guys from MI were crazy drivers and I held that belief until today. Wow, what a change of mind. Then on the way home with Marc it was the same thing. I was almost stupified. I can never again say all those MI drivers are crazy.
The day was warm and sunny – a first for me this year in MI. The joy that sunshine brings is undescribable. I have often pondered why those that live in perpetual sunshine seem to have a laid back attitude. Today it just dawned upon me. It must be the joy that all those days of sunshine bring to the people of the sun that somehow dull the senses and leads to sort of a lathargic mode that manifests itself as a “tomorrow” attitude. Whereas, we of the frozen North find very little sun and that leads to a frenzied devotion to time and the need to accomplish a lot in a short period of time that the sun shines. Since it does not shine a lot this leads to a vacuum that can only be filled by a more frenzied attempt. Who is correct? The North or the South Clan? Beats me but I like to average the year and be laid back in the winter and frenzied in the summer – strange it does not usually work out that way.
