Welcome WEBMASTER
Posted on April 2nd, 2004 No commentsI remember the genie so “WELCOME webMASTER”. Each episode was a new adventure and as an engineering student in the electronics field I had a lot of time to watch television: a lie, as I was so far behind the curve it was a struggle to keep up.
Now I AM A WEBMASTER, and I can do what the world expects – write words of wisdom. This I will do, when I can, as THINGS dictate.
Actually, I love to write and wish I was much better than I could ever hope to be! This is my MANTRA – do you understand the CAPS? ….BFN..Charlie.

Posted on April 1st, 2004 No commentsHere I am in Grand Rapids, MI. The trip up yesterday was about 2 hours and a non-event since I had made the same trip several times. I arrived at my motel, and being a cheap Charlie, tried the bottom dollar motel(6). Well, that truly was a big mistake and after a few minutes of changing rooms and trying the internet connect I gave it up as a real loss. Next I tried Red Roof Inns and it was pretty good but beyond my budget – no time to negotiate deals, no hi-speed internet and no refrig/microwave.
Arrive at Excel Inns – expected to be a dog – and what a surprise! It was pretty good & had a C. breakfast at $40/day. I booked for two nights but just upped for another week. In case you are interested the number is 616-957-3000. OK, so far and still like’n it.
Work was pretty good too and Mo was a real slave master, presenting tonnes of material and talking too, so I am worn out, hungry, satisfied, writing and going out for dinner soon. I am watching a Sci-Fi movie now and it is good – a 5th dimension trip to a parallel dimension – man, I like this stuff! Ok, I really have to go eat or it will be too late – I have decided upon Greek Salad or some other type with chicken. But: boy this movie is good!
