New Pad for Dad

Charlie went and did it! A home for him in Grand Rapids is in the cards – perhaps. Closing was this week and went fine and the move in date is scheduled for 1 September. Now we shall see how the remaining cards fall. It is always a challenge to know what to do but the feeling is that it is better to do something than to do nothing and wish you had. One more fork in the road passed and the sleep was sound last night.

I ate at a Italian Sports Bar last night and paid more for my meals than usual. However, the place had a “hotspot” and I wanted to try my new Dell Axim X30 on the wireless internet. Everything worked fine and I felt thrilled to use some features not encountered before: I tried to MSN my son in Texas as I saw he was online but no response came forth. Now I need a waterproof Bluetooth GPS unit and moving map software……….(more $$$).
