Vacation time

This summer we get a vacation. SAM has not been able to get time off at the same time as myself for at least 2 years. This year we learned to plan and we are off together. Tomorrow we were supposed to go to Sagugatuck, MI to look at a Cape Dory 36 sailboat but the “motivated” owner has decided to take his sister out on Lake Michigan for the weekend and canceled on us.

Sunday we plan a trip Eastward to Lake Champlain and possibly on further to Maine. Again to look at sailboats that we might be interested in owning. My dream is to live on one during the cold northern days and when I retire in a few years I hope to have it ensconced in a nice slip somewhere in the Gulf Coast states. We shall see.
