  • Friday after Thanksgiving

Posted on November 25th, 2005 admin No comments

A beautiful but cold Friday follows a blustery, cold and snowy Thanksgiving. The Ohio crew were here and so was the whole NE IN group. We had about a dozen or so and it was fun. SAM made lots of food and all the other households brought additional goodies. We gad a great time. After everyone had departed I went over to the Lee’s to help with his John Deere tractor project – snow plow season devices to be added to the tractor. I left about 1700hrs back to the homestead. I’ll try to post some of the pictures as a link later. (My old 3.2 Megapixel Cannon was taken over by J. and now I have a 7.1MP so I can get finer resolution and really zoom in)

Later in the evening I called Jane down in S Carolina just to see how things were going. They are a large collection of parents, grand parents and great grandparents. I understand that next summer Jim may be hosting the 4th again. Therefore, we must plan how to approach our own celebrations here.

I have been working on a new site to celebrate the name Charles W Moore. Last year I noticed that the URL was no taken so I rented the .com, .org, .us and .net extensions of charleswmoore freom GoDaddy. I had a pretty rapidly developed site just to occupy the domain name. Now is the time to go a little further so I spent some time to make it look a little better. I have asked my son, the real professional developer, to critique the site so I can make it look state-of-the-art and professional.

Today it is about 15 degrees outside and sunny. I think we will go Geocaching this afternoon and hit a couple of sites just for the exersize. I need to walk after the neck surgery as I have been a bit uncoordinated given the nerve situation and find it difficult to type too. So, exersize and more exersize, to try to get the nuerons back in track.

Love to all those in the world in need and especially to the Family. BFN…..
