This blog is about the life and times of myself and may mention others of my circle of family and friends.  The thought patterns reflect my lifetime in a small rural town in NE Indiana.  These attitudes are tainted however, since I am widely travelled in Europe, Every country of the Americas and a lot of the North and South Pacific.  I need to include Southern Africa in the travels as well.  I was fortunate to have been travelled in PRC China before it became wide open to the Western World and Africa of the 1980′s.

All that being said I am a product of the highly conservative rural NE Indiana environment that taught me the lessons of life at a time when family and friends were important and the electronic transistor age had not begun.  It was a time I look fondly upon and “Father Knew Best” and there was a lot of mentoring by the older fellows of the town.
