I bought a new wireless interconnect device.\u00a0 It is a DLink DWL-G730AP.\u00a0 It is a three function device that can act as an Access Point mode, Client mode and Router mode.\u00a0 I thought it would be pretty cool.\u00a0 It does work in client mode OK but what a pain in the rear end to configure.\u00a0 First you have to change TCP\/IP from DHCP to a fixed class C IP.\u00a0 Second you have to configure the Client mode to search for available wireless points and then third you have to go back to DHCP.\u00a0 It is much more difficult than a wireless card.<\/p>\n
