{"id":285,"date":"2008-01-01T18:43:06","date_gmt":"2008-01-01T23:43:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.charleswmoore.org\/wordpress\/?p=285"},"modified":"2008-01-03T22:30:23","modified_gmt":"2008-01-04T03:30:23","slug":"new-years-eve-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.charleswmoore.org\/wordpress\/index.php\/2008\/01\/01\/new-years-eve-day\/","title":{"rendered":"New Years Eve &#038; Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We went up to Angola last night for a New Years Eve prayer at 1130PM and spent the New Years first moments singing and praising.\u00a0 It was snowing beautifully off the Mound lights.\u00a0 There were several churches involved so we did not know a lot of the people.<\/p>\n<p>Over night we received about 6&#8243; of snow and we cleaned this off the drive just after breakfast and then again in the afternoon as the wind drifted snow across the drive.\u00a0 We ate expecting a total of about 12&#8243; over the two days and then a very cold snap of single digits.\u00a0 The snow was hanging beautifully on the trees all day and this is a very rare event.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.charleswmoore.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/01\/snowcrop.jpg\" title=\"Snow Crop -  How to grow snow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1650\" src=\"http:\/\/www.charleswmoore.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/01\/snowcrop.jpg\" alt=\"Snow Crop -  How to grow snow\" height=\"2304\" style=\"width: 399px; height: 374px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I went\u00a0 over to Lee&#8217;s this afternoon to apply some brass reinforcement plates to prevent the boat hatch doors from breaking if the are swinging or someone leans on them.\u00a0 I did one last summer as it broke when I fell against it in heavy seas.\u00a0 And so goes my last day of vacation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We went up to Angola last night for a New Years Eve prayer at 1130PM and spent the New Years first moments singing and praising.\u00a0 It was snowing beautifully off the Mound lights.\u00a0 There were several churches involved so we did not know a lot of the people.
