I went to the Board of Aviation meeting tonight.\u00a0 It was an interesting meeting.\u00a0 A couple of County Council members were there tonigh and that is good.\u00a0 The RFP packages were opened tonight – there were only 2 bidders and both were local.\u00a0 Interestingly, the Fort Wayne airport group sent a letter wishing to tie themselves with us in an unspecified manner.\u00a0 Also discussed were several different claims and various expansion options.<\/p>\n
Earlier in the afternoon TSA got together at Mike’s business to discuss hangar related issues.\u00a0 According to Fulfab, any cable that exhibits an imperfection should be replaced.\u00a0 We discussed several ways to assess a maintenance fee to cover cable replacement.\u00a0 We also discussed snow removal from about 6′ out to the hangar doors:\u00a0 we have 4 volunteers – Mike, Chuck, Walt and Jack.\u00a0 It could be a long winter!<\/p>\n
The weather remains cold and rainy.\u00a0 Prospects for another sail this year are dim.\u00a0 If we had been smart we would have pulled the sails before we left the marina last week.\u00a0 Oh well, I guess we are not too smart.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
