a 16&#8242; x 22&#8243; Perception Shadow &#8211; and did a turn around our lake.\u00a0 It is not too far, perhaps a mile, but it was fun none the less.\u00a0 While out I noticed the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Rudder\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rudder\">rudder<\/a> did not see to act correctly.\u00a0 It would turn to port fine but the starbord turn was very slow with full rudder against an unusual feeling stop.\u00a0 When I returned and carried the boat up to the shop, I looked into the problem.\u00a0 I had to laugh.\u00a0 There was no way the rudder ever worked correctly since someone had changed the foot rests.\u00a0 One of the foot rests had a tab sticking down that would not let the slide fully back.\u00a0 I took the assembly apart and removed the tab and re-installed and, walla, now it works.\u00a0 I was surprised that SAM did not complain sooner.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now I am wasting my time writing <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Blog\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Blog\">blogs<\/a>, answering emails and working on the\u00a0<a title=\"TriState Aviation Hangars Assoc.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tsahangars.com\" target=\"_blank\">TSA Hangars\u00a0<\/a>website.\u00a0 SAM is out at a church function and who knows when the return will be.\u00a0 It was a fun, relaxing day with nothing to do.\u00a0 I talked with Jerry Moeller this morning and he is in <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Sarasota, Florida\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sarasota%2C_Florida\">Sarasota<\/a> with his boat.\u00a0 He hit someting with the props while going\u00a0down the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tennessee-Tombigbee_Waterway\">Tenn-Tom<\/a> and spun one of the props.\u00a0 The water is so high due to hurricane Ida that he just pulled the boat and trailered it down to my very favorite marina &#8211;
