I received the new AOC 22″  LCD 16:9 monitor today.  Of course, I immediately installed it and booted up.  It came up in the native 1024 x 768  resolution.  I was prepared to hate the new monitor.  I progressively up’d the resolution to the point it was too small for me.  Then I backed it off to a comfortable size of 1280×768.  I love this new display that I paid $139 w free shipping.  The supplied drivers were nt installed by XP Pro as it said I already had them installed.  I spent the day getting used to the display and now I wonder how I ever used a 17″ std monitor.  How can AOC do it?  The monitor has a 3 year warranty too!

SAM & I spent the late afternoon stripping the teak boarding ladder.  The previous owner had refinshed  so the varnish came off easily.  Now we are 50% complete on the stripping.  Then comes 3 coats of Cetol Light and a coat of Cetol Gloss.  Thin another 50 hours to finish!  Can anyone appreciate this but us?  I doubt it.
