Posted on May 4th, 2010 No commentsWe finally have internet on the boat. No – the new Captifi device has not arrived but the new Belkin wireless N cards are superior to the old D-Link a/b/g and Linksys b cards. We can finally receive a decent signal strength with these cards.
Captifi is a device from RadioLabs that costs #140 plus shipping. The interface is USB and it takes a special free download to interface. I tried one last year and it is impressive because it pickes up a decent wifi from about a mile via a simple usb plug-in.
