Assuming we come up with the cash on-time Con El Viento is ours!  After really tough negotiating and lots of stress for all parties our new boat, an Irwin 43, deal has been accepted by all parties.  There was no celebration party as everyone was tired and wanted to get out of here.  However, we went to the boat this afternoon during the very heavy rain just in time to see one of the little scrubby insect blockers shoot out of the side of the boat.  after that the water came shooting out.  We just watched the gusher and then left when the rain subsided.

Right now there is a big thunderstorm with heavy rain but not a gully washer.  This will be an everyday experience for the remainder of the summer season.  The temperatures right now are great and rolling in at about 80 degrees.  For dinner we had leftovers from last nights celebration at the Outback Crab Shack.  I had crab cakes and SAM had chicken.  We pooled our left overs and tonight it was sufficient for a good meal – our last in Green Cove Springs for a while.

We are packed and ready to go when we wake up tomorrow morning at 0 dark thirty.  We expect to stop at Knoxville North for the evening and will be a 9 hour day expected.  I will sign off for now and return tomorrow, perhaps, if I can get some bandwidth.
