We left St. Petersburg from Martha’s house on Thursday the 30th but not before we had to visit Crown Honda for a new starter.  They are not bashful about charging and the bill was $680 for just the starter and diagnosis. We did not leave St. Pete until 1200 hrs and drove as far as Savannah, via Jacksonville, on I-95.  We arrived in Rock Hill, SC about noon on the 31st and stopped to see Aunt Mary for a few hours and then continued on to Jonesville, NC.  Saturday April 1st we arrived back in Pleasant Lake in the late afternoon.  The weather was sunny and warm but cooled off at night.

We unpacked right away but did not find everything until today – April 3td.  The last things to find we parts for the antenna and the 5vdc battery power supply. SAM is arranging all the paperwork for doing taxes and paying the bills.  Thank heaven for her paperwork ability as I would be stark raving mad by now.

Today I started working on wind chimes.  I calculated the C4 chord lengths of the 5 chimes. Presently, I am trying to arrange materials for the striker and the top piece. I would like to use 1/4″ lexan as the striker and the same for the top piece.  I do not know at this time what to use as the sail but it will probably thin aluminum that I can cut easily or, perhaps, an old license plate cut in half.

W9LKI just called and wanted me to order a gigbit switch for him so this will be the end of the session tonight.  Moore later.
