The bar of God’s justice is long and high.  He has a “justice system” in place that always provides true justice, just as He has promised in his inspired word.  We have experienced many high profile, highly publicized, criminal trials in places where I live and have lived. They have emphasized the flaws and weaknesses of our legal system.  There will always be flaws and failures in a system that depends on men to deny self-interest and do the right thing. This applies to our imperfect and flawed political system as well that requires men to deny self-interest and perform the ethical and moral leadership required of them.

However, God is just and perfect.  So, all of His verdicts are correct.  And, where does that leave us all?  I know I do not want to stand alone on my judgement day as I deserve nothing because I am as imperfect as the next guy.  Thankfully, Jesus, you paid the price of our redemption and will intercede for us so we do not have to stand alone. This is what I trust to be true and I am comforted no matter what the future holds.
