I arrived in P.L. around noon and had to re-arrange my schedule some what because we finished a little bit early.  After writing this episode of my life, I will enter some of the data collected this week.  The Country Inns & Suites HSI is anything but that.  They must be on the very far end of a DSL connection.  In any case it was not too easy to work from there.

We finished about 3:30 PM yesterday and I called Jess.  I gave the address and we met at the hotel to go out for dinner.  What a pleasure that was.  I received all the latest from how it was going at work to what furniture.  We are at a Lebanonese place known to Jess.  It was good.  All too soon it was over and we went to our seperate ways.

Traffic is very congested in the I-80/94 I-65 area due to construction.  There was a very long line to enter the I-80/94 EB interchange and it took over a half hour to go 1/4 mile.    came back on the toll road and they are doing a lot of construction projects at the entry/exit points.  I saw at least one speed trap but I go the speed limit plus 3 so I never worry too much if I am on cruise.  I got off at Howe and went through Howe on SR120 to Brighton and then through Mongo to see the colors.  It is shorter but a little slower.

I lost my cell phone somewhere on the 7th and so I went on eBay and bought another old antiquated Samsung SCH-A650 for $21.50 including shipping and insurance.  It says it will have a new battery and a home charger.  I would like to think that the battery is new and we will see how honest they are about that.

Late this afternoon I went to Dell ONline and bought a replacement fan for the CPU.  The original one is making that bad grinding sound.  The cost was $32.81 and the shipping is higher that the price of the fan, housing and tunneling plastic part.

After that was the meditation and a canned stew dinner.  SAM is working 2nd so I did dishes and clothes.  I guess I better get used to it and it is the future for a retired me.
