  • Indiana DNR: Fish-For-Life

Indiana was plugging the Fish-For-Life license.  OK, I ordered it online and printed a few copies out.  Now you must understand that a person must be at least 64 years of age to qualify.  The normal fee is $3/year so dividing 17/3=5.667 years.  The State of Indiana must figure that I will not be around to use this license after age 70 or else it would not want to sell these lifetime things.   Maybe it is that they want the cash right now and will worry about the consequences later.  However, I really think it is just another conspiracy to relieve us Boomers from our cash.  With the socialized medicine they will just be able to pull our plug whenever they want to so why worry about using the license for a long time.  I wish they would do this for hunting licenses such as deer tags as I will take my chances – I have a plan.
